|The Challenge

Healthcare seekers face a non-integrated system of data networks that presents a high level of difficulty when looking to aggregate their health data.

System under pressure

The health care system, under financial pressures, nurses leaving the profession and a physician shortfall expected to exceed 100,000 by 2030, is leaving patients with a greater responsibility to manage their own health needs.

Too much and never enough

The volume of data is growing almost exponentially and patients and doctors can’t aggregate, synthesize and interpret all this data.

a lonely fight

No advocate to fully curate and present complex data in a digestible format, flagging problems before they become serious medical issues.

|THE RESPONSE

aggregate

Medical and non-medical data were pulled together under one roof to build an actionable, intelligent member-owned record to help users see all their data at a glance.

|Key persona

A key persona emerged from user and stakeholder interviews, allowing the team to codify key pain points, desired features and work goals.

|THE RESULT

By interviewing HCPs, hospital administrators and healthcare seekers the team identified some of the top tasks to be addressed

  • Healthcare encounters past and present

  • Refilling prescriptions

  • Tracking lab results

  • Tracking prescription effects on lab results

  • Getting ready for a doctor’s visit

  • Sending data to a third party (HCP, insurance, other trusted healthcare partners)
